narrow room lack of support

the room felt a little strange. it was long and narrow, and getting from the bed to the bathroom involved what reminded me of a very long walk, including several stairs. above all, i didn't feel supported when i mentioned this to the staff, it was disappointing, even though i know most rooms aren't like that, .

the location was quite convenient. i also found the staff to be friendly and professional, especially at reception. the rooms were spacious enough and generally well maintained.

the tv channels did not cater to international travelers. i also felt that the bathroom lights were excessively bright.

early 20th-century design high ceilings luxury feeling bar closure restaurant closure room service

The building has an excellent early 20th-century design. It feels luxurious. The room featured super-high ceilings and wonderful decorations. The hotel gave me that aristocracy luxury feeling one cannot get in new buildings. The room was also spectacularly equipped.

I stayed here in June 2024 and found the bar and restaurant closed. There was no "plan b" in place, despite this being an excellent hotel. Room service was also hard to get. I was not able to get cold drinks or wine despite paying premium rates for the room.
